Strano began his music career four years ago in NYC with Society, an original sci-fi narrative told solely through electronic/orchestral music and cover narration. He then went on to record Microscopia, an electronica album which contained two tracks that inspired the score to his first feature, Fixing Frank, which he composed in 2001. After completing several short films, Esperanza, Her Own, and The Five Dollar Bill, Strano composed the score to his second feature, Dominick Brascia's Breaking the Cycle. In early 2002, Strano composed music for the original play, The Allegory of Golf, produced in New York by newBrain productions of which Strano is a founding member. In December of 2002, he moved to LA to pursue film composing with a vengeance. Visit Strano's website [www.mp3.com/markstrano] to hear samples of his work.
