After working on the Merchant/Ivory production of Mr. & Mrs. Bridge in her hometown of Kansas City, Snitz moved to New York to pursue her interest in the next part of production... editing. She began editing commercials for such clients as Pepsi and American Express. Her desire to move beyond 30 seconds prompted her to move into television where she edited for several shows including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Recently, Snitz has broadened her horizons to include producing as well as editing documentaries, television pilots and programming for networks such as TLC, Comedy Central and HBO. She and Selditch were nominated for a primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Non-Fiction Reality Programming in 2001 for Trauma: Life in the ER. Fixing Frank is her first feature film to both produce and edit.
